We need to have the mailing list dilaog before we can have this feature.

Sync priority with beta 2 criteria. D&D AB to Compose is top priority of D&D.

Syncing with marketing priorities. These are moving to P4 to connote "Cut here first". If you disagree with this priority, please let me know.

Is this bug for reordering entries in the mailing list? I think we can add helpwanted and move to the "future" milestone.

I think this bug is about reordering the entries in a mail list dialog. For this reason I'm going to reopen this bug.

According to help, this D & D feature no longer exist in 7.0. Type name in list, candidate list pop-up then select from there.

Reopening. In older builds it was possible to have the mailing list dialog open and then drag-n-drop cards from the address book's results pane (right top pane) onto the mailing list. Because this created many problems, earlier this year this feature was disabled. I know that the developers are working on bringing this feature back. I think the concept I just described is different from the original description of this bug. With a list selected, select the Properties button so it opens a mailing list dialog. How would you change the order of the existing addresses? This bug asks for the ability to drag-n-drop addresses to control the order. Bug# 45170 asks for up/down arrows to control the order.
