Previous Firefox updates have had a similar problem; default search plugins have been reinstated by the update if deleted from a previous version, but 1.5 is the first version I have used that also removes all the previous version's search plugins. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Firefox 1.07. 2. Add a search plugin. 3. Install Firefox 1.5. Actual Results: The list of search plugins contained only the default set contained with Firefox 1.5. Expected Results: Ideally, the list of search plugins should contain only those that existed in the previous install. Even reverting to the old behaviour (adding default search plugins in addition to the ones already present) would be an improvement, however.
