User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1

JPMorgan has an add-in for Excel, which (among other things) adds a menu to Excel that has a link, "Help". That menu item produces "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (c) isn't associated with any program".

So after a bit of work IE becomes my default browser again, and what opens is "C:/Program Files/RDIXL/doc/index.html". It would have been much easier for the user if the Firefox dialog box had quoted the attempted URL in full, rather than just the (c) piece.

This is related to (but an easier request than) bug 312680.
