when I go into tools/options/content/fonts and colours/advanced, I get a box telling me what font it is using and other things, but as my eyes are not so good I would like to increase the font size but when I go to the minimum font size box it is not there because the main box cuts it off and some writing above as well, I have tried reinstalling Firefox to no avail. Thanks for your help in this matter

To make the window larger you can paste the contents of the attachment of comment 133 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283697#c133) into a text editor and save this file as userChrome.css into the chrome folder in your profile.
To find your profile type %appdata% in your run box and open the folder Mozilla.
