User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 This happens almost every time with very simple Java applets. Switching focus between a HTML input field and a Java applet input field causes a very quick crash of Firefox. This only seems to happen with Java 1.5 on the Mac. Older JVMs have problems with focus, as covered in other bugs... but at least they dont crash. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to site 2. change focus 3-4 times between input field and applet Actual Results: browser crashed Expected Results: browser should not crash
Have you submitted any talkback crash data? If so, what TalkbackIDs are they?
Just submitted a trackback, TB15578057E I noticed that it was harder to crash this time. I clicked around for 30 seconds, and nothing happened. Then I rebooted Firefox. In about 5 clicks it crashed again.

Is this still an issue with Firefox 2.0.0.x or a recent Minefield; if so, this probably belongs in Core:JEP. I can't test JVM 1.5 here....
I can't reproduce this using Firefox 2.0.0.4 and JVM 1.5. This may have been fixed in a JEP update.

Talkback stack no longer exists. Firefox 1.5 is no longer supported, no reply to comment 3 and comment 4 WFM. Resolving WFM.
