User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 with a document open in the print preview window. if you click a link from a third party application and have your tab prefrences set to open external links in new tabs in most recent window, the new tab will open in the print preview interface. the tab close button exists. but if you use the close (print preview close) button, it will close the original document and cease function. This leaves the new link stuck in the print preview pane and you're pretty much forced to close the browser Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Browser 2. Set tab prefrences to open in tab in most recent window 3. Hit Print Preview 4. open another application (mIRC used in my example) 5. click a link in said application 6. link opens in print preview pane 7. use the print preview close button. 8. close the browser Actual Results: the opened link remains in the print preview window even after the print preview close button is pressed. after closing the original document the close button ceases to function Expected Results: should have opened the link in either: a new browser window (seprate from the one with print preview open) if another browser window is present allready (seprate from the print preview one), a new tab in that this was noticed using firefox 1.5.0.1, tested on 2 computers. originally I suspected the tabbrowser prefrences extension. uninstalled it, had the same problem. my friend mike had the same problem and did not have the extension installed.
