There's seems to be something wrong with out inline alerts. I think it is because we send events, before we set the intrinsic state. So any inline styling (display: xxx) is not active when the event is received by the alert element, and thus it displays a popup.

The problem is probably in nsXFormsModelElement::SetStatesInternal()
