20060228 trunk

The area behind tooltips is not being redrawn after the tooltips disappear. This leaves blank white boxes where tooltips have been displayed. Screenshot coming.

These white squares are what is left after a tooltip showing the tab's title disappears. This regressed sometime between 20060214 and 20060228.

Probably because of the switch to cairo.
Could you give an url or a testcase that shows the problem?

Load up a couple of tabs and then mouseover them to get a tooltip. It won't always refuse to redraw, but probably 60 - 75% of the time.

Load up http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/postquery?bill_number=ab_20&sess=CUR&house=B in two tabs for example.

I also see this sometimes when clicking links. The area behind the link will turn white.

Looks more like a problem with backgrounds in general.

Not sure if this is strictly the same bug, but probably is general Cairo fallout.

I don't know. After Cairo, Places, and stupid close buttons on tabs I stopped using trunk builds.

The branch builds aren't going to help you with close buttons ;)  ok, resolving this WORKSFORME for now, if anyone sees this again either reopen or file new.
