Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.5
Platform: XP SP2(via CDROM) fresh install. Occurs every time, even when running installer as Administrator. Firefox 1.5 previously installed with no problems.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Thunderbird
2. Start Thunderbird installer
3. Accept agreement
4. Start installation
Actual Results:
"Error occurs during installation Cross platform COM: -202 Access Denied"
Expected Results:
Installed Thunderbird
Different person, same problem. Win xp sp2, Download through Free Download Manager to HP 503n platform with 100+ Gig memory. Downloads with attempts to unpack and install three times, all with Error occurs during installation message. Point of error close to 85 percent complete on load bar all three times.

Reporter does that also happened for newer releases? If it cannot be seen anymore please close this bug as WORKSFORME.
