User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.1) Gecko/20060111 Firefox/1.5.0.1 i updated my firefox to version 1.5. after that whenever i goto my homepage my.msn.com the browser goes to the log in page after every time i restart the browser. after i put in the username and password i click "save my e-mail address and password" and log in. if i close the browser and open it back up when my home page loads it takes me to the login page with nothing in both fields. it wont even ask me if i want to save my password and user name in password manager. with the previous version becasue i told my.msn.com to save my username and password it bypassed the login screen and went stright to my homepage. now it asks for a password and username everytime. how can i fix this so my.msn.com will save my password and username again and how can i get the passsword manager to ask to save my info after clicking neverforthis site previously? thank you Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open and close the browser 2. 3. Actual Results: a blank username and password field comes up and the login page comes up instead of the homepage even after i tell the website to save my password and username Expected Results: it should take a second to atomatically login to the homepage my.msn.com and show my custom page not the login screen i downloaded the blueshift and reshift and a few other themes and an extension to speed up firefox. but i deleted it in hopes of correcting the problem (which didnt work). the password manager doesnt even have an option to turn back on the option to ask to save a password for a particular site after you clicked "never save for this site". this problem started after i upgraded to firefox 1.5 from a previous version.
my.msn.com explicitly disables the password manager via autocomplete="off". See the link in comment #1 for info on how to bypass it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 245333 ***
