Or you simply drag the new TB file in the applications folder and let it replace the old TB. However: If you install the new TB manually all your spelling dictionaries are lost because they are not placed in a folder within the TB profile but they are installed within the TB application/package itself. This sucks and is definively a bug. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: Language/spelling dictionatries should be installed in a folder within the profile. They should not installed within the program itself. Or they get lost when you upgrade your Thunderbird manually.
