I've tried to minimize the testcase from tdconline.dk It can be seen here: http://tdc.gemal.dk/flashhub.html the flash plugin appear at the wrong place. In IE and FF15 it appears at the correct place. but in nightly builds it has for a very long time appear at the wrong place.
it works fine in: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1a2) Gecko/20060518 BonEcho/2.0a2 it appears wrong in: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20060517 Minefield/3.0a1 if that helps. let me know what I can do to help track down this issue
I see it only in IE. Tried several Firefox builds but I see only a red border.
(In reply to comment #2) > I see it only in IE. Tried several Firefox builds but I see only a red border. > did you try ff15? It's been wrong for several months now
Yes, I tried all three; branch, trunk and the latest release on WinXP. With one of the builds I saw also something blue on the bottom of the window, like it was displayed nearly outside the viewport, but could not repeat it.

Marking depends on since i'm not sure. Re-check when that bug is fixed.
Depends on: 325465
The problem seems to be related to position:absolute
Sorry, the test yesterday was wrong; I had forgotten to remove the flash-blocking .css that I tested one day earlier. Weird BTW that the same flash-blocking code did not block the flash when it was outside the border.. I found a regression range: 1.9a1_2006040314 - 1.9a1_2006040323. http://bonsai.mozilla.org/cvsquery.cgi?module=PhoenixTinderbox&date=explicit&mindate=2006-04-03+13%3A00&maxdate=2006-04-03+23%3A00
Those bugs can't be the cause of this. I think this is basically bug 325465.
(In reply to comment #11) > You're right I guess. One of those builds was not marked as non-cairo on the outside grrr :(
using Shockwave Flash 9.0 r7 it works just fine now.
