In 1.5 I have google as default when selecting any text and right-click search. Regardless of selected search in the searchbox.
This don't happens any more. The right-click search use the latest selected search engine. And this is silly. If for example you select some text and like to search the web for this, and the latest engine selected was "ubuntu package search"
It should be nice to have an option on that, since this mean that you first have to select example google/yahoo,etc . Then do the select text and right-click search
It was easier in 1.5
Reproducible: Always

The reasoning in bug 203959 (which introduced this behavior) indicates that this is what is wanted and that users who don't like this behavior should resort to an extension. Probably WONTFIX.

actually, this is a dupe. Turns out this behaviour isn't quite as useful as one would hope, and we're looking at a way of setting the default search engine for the context menu to use.
