User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060516 SeaMonkey/1.0.2
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060516 SeaMonkey/1.0.2
After updating to the new 1.0.2 build 2 mail folders are missing. I have done extensive searches and even downloaded a file recovery program (PC Inspector File Recovery) and they are not showing up anywhere.
Reproducible: Always
Could you please make a screenshot of it please so we can help or contact me :)

There is no screenshot. Unless you want a shot of my mail folders. There isn't an error message they just disappeared.

OK, so the folders would be in [profile folder]\Mail\account_name\
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/releases/seamonkey1.0.2/installation.html#files_profiles
Are the folders there (each folder would be a file) and not showing up in the UI or just not there at all?

They disappeared completely. I was able to locate them but not restore them.

What folders are missing?
Where did you locate the missing folders (as you say above)?
And, what directory is your profile in?
Based on your report in bug 207672 Comment 48 perhaps you installed SM into a temp directory, which may explain all your problems. Your comments include ...
"I'm getting error messages when trying to open most of my files; see
below. This happens with all similar files, any clues?"
and
"Components to download:
Mozilla XPCOM found: C:\DOCUME~1\STACYS~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\ns_temp\
..."

[correction ...] your comment in bug 307672 Comment 48 (not bug 207672)
you may want to seek more timely assistance in the SM support forum http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=40&sid=7f95ea825a574e0befe99cdbbce9c261
