Drop an arbitrary link over the Home button Expected results: In all three cases, the URL set as the new home page should be displayed (so that you can see that at least in the first two cases - invalid URL and missing URL - proceeding would be pretty pointless). Why not "Do you want this document to be your new home page: http://www.example.org/evil.cgi [Yes] [No]" (so that it's obvious what the "this" is referring to)?
