What the heck is that icon in teh select profile dialog supposed to represent? I
can't identify it. It looks kinda like some guy in a welding mask, or perhaps the
head of a dalek.

need to provide some text to explain this.
german, how do you think we should show unmigrated profiles without overloading
this dialog with information?

QA Assigning non-confidential New/Assigned User Interface: Design Feedback bugs
to Matthew Thomas (mpt@mailandnews.com).
Matthew Thomas is now the QA owner for the User Interface: Design Feedback
component. (Bugs that involve UI issues in the Netscape-branded Mozilla browser
should continue be QA assigned to elig@netscape.com.)

I believe Simon may have been referring to the actual icon (singular) in the top
left corner of the window, as opposed to the icons (plural) in the tree widget
for unmigrated profiles.
If that's the case (Simon?), then this is a dup of bug 34224, which already has a
patch waiting.

34224 should be a dup of this (this came first!). The point of this bug is that I
don't want the sheep/dakel/welding mask icon back. I want something identifiable.

reassign this to ben.
A suggestion: I think if you take off the green circle completely, and only
leave the symbolic figure in there ( you may or may not want to have the white
cirle), it can be much better since it will not look like a button, only as a
symble graphic of the program. On the pixel level, I think the head of the
figure should be bit bigger so it won't look like a "sheep".
Ben, did I do this image? If I did it, I can modify it and re-send to you if
you want.

Making it look less like a toolbar button is a good idea, but you'd also have to
do it in the Account Wizard, and sundry other places in the chrome too.

Currently (2000062108) there is no icon!
BTW shouldn't this be "Profile Manager Frontend" component?
I do not think there needs to be an icon at all. It definitely does not seem to
add any value in terms of usability. We can leave the XUL structure for an image
in there but then turn it off for modern and classic skins. Ben?
