It differs per computer and trunk cairo scrolls laggy in comparison with 1.5. Minefield has a huge memory problem as you can see on this screenshot (scrolling up and down): http://img240.imageshack.us/img240/7259/fonts4md.png When I close Minefield and try the site with IE the memory drops to 145 MB.

This is probably a gfx: thebes bug.

i don't see this really hanging anymore -- it could be a little faster i'm sure, but it is a lot better now.
