Requires WindowEyes 5.5K and a Firefox build with the reorganized preferences window
1. Tools / Options / Advanced / Update
2. Tab to "Minefield" under "Automatically check for updates to:"
Results:
WindowEyes speaks "Minefield"
Expected results:
WindowEyes should also speak the text of the associated label, e.g. "Automatically check for updates to: Minefield"
Other controls in the preferences window get this right, including the group of radio buttons immediately below this (tabbing to the radio group speaks "When updates to Minefield are found, ask me what I want to do"). And other checkboxes get this right too, for example the checkboxes in the Clear Private Data settings dialog (speaks "Select the items to be cleared. Private Data. Browsing History" -- that's the associated label, then the group box caption, then the checkbox text.).

I don't see what you're describing for CPD (branch or trunk), and presumably however what you're seeing is doing it is the way that I'd want to do it as well. Could you point me to another example?

This bug is most likely fixed by bug 397664, which includes the fix for bug 397532. The latter addresses this specific issue. Please reopen if you still see a problem in latest Trunk builds.
