Request for Enhancement.
I would like to be able to sign on to ANY of the computers in my labs and read my email. My lab has macs, win2k, win95, linux, freebsd To do this for all users, I need a way to easily and in one location specify the places that thunderbird looks for a profile folder. E.g:
$PROFILE=\\conan\home\tbird;H:\tbird;~\tbird;postie:/mail/users/$USER
The syntax has to be broad enough so that the same location can be used for windows, mac, and unix. As such it should understand UNC's, drive letters, ~ as an abbreviation of home directory, nfs mounts. Probably a bunch of others.
I can probably kludge a workaround by digging into the preferences files, and use a bunch of sed scripts, but really, I would rather not have to beat it up this much.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Actually reproduciability should have a line, "Not approriiate."
