- Open a large folder in the bookmarks-menu or select a link in a page that calls a huge context-menu and right-click
- Hover over the scroll arrows
- Result: does not scroll; it scrolls on click however
- Also: in the last few days I see randomly two seemingly superfluous scroll arrows in my context-menu although I have no suspected extension installed like Clusty that could cause this

Bug 331055 is a bit outside that range but I don't see another likely culprit.
So I'm filing this bug in the same product and component as Bug 331055. Sorry if I'm accusing the wrong one :).
I have had problems with the auto scroll feature in drag and drop within Seamonkey since the 4-25-06 nightly build. I believe that is the problem described here. The auto scroll feature does not work in bookmarks when draging a bookmark, when draging e-mails to new directories, and when moving address book entries, beyond the window view. Instead, one gets the null sign (circle with a line through it) normally indicating that you can not do that, but certainly something that should be allowed.
I can have the April build on my machine and a current nightly and the earlier build will work with auto scroll while the new one does not, so the problem is apparently in the new build not with something on my computer.
This is a big problem and discourages me from using and build after the 4-025-06 one. I would imagine most people would not use it with this problem.
I'll post a screen shot to illustrate the problem.

If the problem started earlier than 14 July 2006, it's not likely that it is the same bug.
Ok, if you believe this is different because it appeared prior to 7/14, what would you suggest? It sure sounds like the same issue, even if caused by something else. If I file a separate bug won't people just lump this one under the first one?

I think it would be best to file a new bug.

Caused by an error merging patches
Looks reasonable.

*** Bug 344772 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This bug is marked resolved/fixed, but it is not fixed in the nightly builds I have downloaded since filing bug 349344 (Aug. 19, 2006) and having it marked as a duplicate of this one. I have 4 WinXP machines and autoscroll in Seamonkey does not work on any of them - I just tested the last nightly posted. I have tested nightlys about every two or three days for months. The mouse wheel scroll works, but when dragging an object beyond the screen range, the view does not automatically move. I have to use a much earlier build (April) to get this to work, but it works fine in that build!
This problem renders Seamonkey much harder to use and would probably keep anyone who is not testing the build from using it on a regular basis. I would consider this a serious flaw. Isn't this a continuing problem for anyone else?
