If a New user installs Firefox (without any help from others), there is no way for him to know that this browser supports Tabbed Browsing.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install a new clean version of Firefox
2. There is no Tab Bar/ New Tab Button or any Visible indicator to show that Firefox supports Tabbed Browsing




Expected Results:  
Something visible should be available when a user first starts Firefox (new install) to indicate that this browser supports Tabbed Browsing.

Possible Solutions:
1. Put the New Tab Button on the Toolbar by default
2. Remove the 'Hide the Tab Bar when one web site is open' preference. This preference also induces a prominent UI change when the second tab is opened which IMHO is neither warranted, nor good nor required.
3. 'Deselect' the 'Hide the Tab Bar when one web site is open' preference by default, hence showing the Tab Bar when user first launches Firefox.

We're not changing this behaviour for Firefox 2, and I'm positive that this is a duplicate bug, potentially even of one that's wontfixed.

I change my mind about voting this WONTFIX.  But I'm not sure if this is a duplicate, yet.

Genral -> Tabbed Browser. Also, not platform-specific.

I think that this shouldn't be WONTFIX. Because of this, one might switch to IE7 thinking that t has tabbed browsing while Firefox not (although it has, but hidden).
