Looks like bug 284555 is back to File->Open File... Click File->Open File..., file-picker pops up. The color of "File" in top menu remains -moz-menuhovertext. It should be color MenuText. It's obvious with "Clearlooks" theme of gnome.

the difference between www.goole.com and www.mozilla.org is that Google web page has an autocomplete textfield. On 2006-06-07 or earlier nightly build, this bug can be hid by autocomplete code. After patch for bug 236791 checked in, this bug was discovered even in a web page with autocomplete textfield. So on 2006-06-08 or later nightly build, this bug can be reproduced in all kind of web pages.
