Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) Gecko/20060806 BonEcho/2.0b1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1b1) Gecko/20060806 BonEcho/2.0b1 1. Items on the bookmarks toolbar have no hover state anymore. There is no change in opacity, border or change in mouse cursor. 2. Most clickable items on the navigation toolbar have a small change in in opacity on hover. There is no change in mouse cursor and some icons do not have a border. Usability would be improved by adding the following hover effects. - Border appearing on hover around bookmarks on bookmarks toolbar, or background behind them. It previously was a border. - Change in mouse cursor, for example from an arrow to a hand, when hovering over clickable items in the bookmarks and navigation toolbar. This is particularly relevant when clicking the item would cause a change to the web page displayed in the main window. - A greater change in hover effect for the reload, stop, home, go and search buttons. The change in opacity is only slight. Hover effects aid in usability for the following reasons: - They allow the user to see that the items are clickable, without clicking them. - They show the user what the clickable area of an item is, and where the boundaries between items are. Reproducible: Always
