Do you also get the crash when you have Java disabled? Do you have a talkback ID of the crash? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Talkback
No. I dont get a crash/hang with java disabled. But then the applets dont work. Eg I cant get stock ticker of Bombay stock exchange. http://www.bseindia.com/ Please note that java is required also for my daily work purpose where I work and I cant afford to enable/disable it to check some sites.
I am behind proxy and the talkback doesnt send the crash report.
All the sites work fine with latest flock browser and java enabled. So now I have switched to flock.

This sounds like a plugin issue with Java. I would recommend making sure you have the latest version of Java installed and possibly trying this site with the Bon Echo beta. I'm going to add this to a list of websites to test for Java plugin acceptance. http://wiki.mozilla.org/MozillaQualityAssurance:Home_Page#Java_Acceptance
I am using the latest java version C:\>java -version java version "1.5.0_05" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_05-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_05-b05, mixed mode, sharing) And anyway, irrespective of the java version, the browser should work. How come IR and flock (with its code based on FF) is working fine? This is industry production machine and I cant play with java versions. FF needs to work with whatever java is present on the users machine.
i would request that you find some helpful instructions for sending talkback reports through your proxy. people have been kind enough to write them up.
