User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060903 BonEcho/2.0b2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1b2) Gecko/20060903 BonEcho/2.0b2 I guess there has been a lot of discussion around how 'washed out' the toolbar icons are and most users agree that the icons should have been a little brighter (darker) than what they are right now. As of now the flow is as follows: Normal State (Lightest) -> Hovered (Little Dark) -> Pressed State (Darkest) Normally, when an icon is selected, it should glow and hence become lighter, which is opposite to the behavior exhibited here. Hence the behavior expected is: Normal State (Dark) -> Hovered (Lighter) -> Pressed State (Darkest) A simple option would be to switch the images of the current normal and hovered states. That would solve two problems: 1. It will make the toolbar icons stand out and a little more distinguishable from what it is today 2. It will result in the expected behavior of an icon glowing (getting lighter) when selected. Reproducible: Always
