See Additional entries below. A scheduled task was setup to capture the growth of prefs.js at 06:30. When the size drops, it is because I have gone into prefs.js and deleted all of the offending entries. When the file gets large enough, it slows down the operation of Thunderbird. It is very noticable when entering names and the e-mail address needs to be found. ldap server is use a different LDAP server - NONE This has been mentioned in the forum but the suggestions have not worked. I cannot be more specific in terms of reproducing the problem except to say that Tbird is used. The file size growth will indicate this issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
