However, "place replies in the folder of the message replied to" is rendered pretty useless by getting deactivated when "Place a copy in:" is unchecked. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to "Copies & Folders" in some account's preferences 2. Try to check "place replies in the folder of the message replied to" without checking "Place a copy in:" 3. -> Doesn't work. Expected Results: Make the checkboxes independently checkable.

Bug 345121 fixed the UI. Don't know what this bug is supposed to do that bug 359545 wouldn't.

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?

No reply to comment #2 in 2⅔ years => WORKSFORME. If you see the same symptoms in SeaMonkey 2.1b1 (or later), please open a new bug. SeaMonkey 1.1.x is not supported anymore anyway.
