User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.8) Gecko/20061025 Firefox/1.5.0.8 Build Identifier: version 1.5.0.8 (20061025) When composing HTML messages with images, I must save the message, close it and re-open it after each step, or I will not be able to save or send the message. If I perform all of the steps neccessary to compose the message without saving it, closing it and re-opening it after each major change (adding image, pasting text, adding title, selecting recipients), I won't be able to send the message or save a copy in the "Drafts" folder. If I attempt to send or save the message, I get an "Attaching Image" dialog that remains indefinitly without completing. I am unable to close the message without losing much of my progress (saves to earlier state). Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click Write button in main window. 2. Click in body of message and insert an image by browsing hard drive, selecting "Don't use alternate text" in Image Porperties dialog and leaving other options as default. 3. Type a few words below picture and hit Enter two times. 4. Insert a second image as above. (sometimes only image place holder shows). 5. Copy and paste a paragraph from a Web page below message. 6. Enter Title. 7. Select a recipient. 8. Select "Save" on File menu or attempt to send. Actual Results: Dialoge appears stating that Thunderbird is attaching image. Process hangs. Expected Results: Message saves in Drafts or is sent. I ran into this problem while composing a message this morning and countless other times with earlier builds. However, when I attempted to reproduce it just now, I was able to save and send without problems. However, only the first inserted image shows in the message during composition. All subsequent images show only a place holder. However, if I save and close the unsenst message and re-open it from Drafts, all images are visible.
