i'm using IE (and lpsolit will learn this eventually) Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) when i try to go back to a bug i've filed, i get this helpful message: Warning: Page has Expired The page you requested was created using information you submitted in a form. This page is no longer available. As a security precaution, Internet Explorer does not automatically resubmit your information for you. To resubmit your information and view this Web page, click the Refresh button. I'd like bugzilla to change how postbug works so that it instead redirects me to show_bug.cgi?id=... with a hint to show_bug to show me the header indicating that i filed it. that way I could actually go back to the bug i filed.
I don't get an expired-page warning in Firefox, but the Reload button doesn't work, and neither does Session Restore. The fix, I think, is exactly what comment 0 suggests. The same applies to commenting on a bug and attaching a patch--so probably all POSTs throughout Bugzilla.

Summary: postbug should redirect to show_bug with a hint to avoid page expired warnings → postbug response page should redirect to show_bug, to play nice with Back button, Reload button, Session Restore
Summary: postbug response page should redirect to show_bug, to play nice with Back button, Reload button, Session Restore → post_bug.cgi response page should redirect to show_bug.cgi, to play nice with Back button, Reload button, Session Restore
This should be mostly mitigated by bug 577720.
This seems like a duplicate of bug 427913 (or the other way around, but either way works).
