Details
The set of actions that a filter can trigger is hard-coded and pretty limited. It would be great if we had an API for extensions to register their own actions. These actions would appear alongside the built-in actions in the filters UI, so they can be used for user-defined filters.
The same thing might even be done for the types of checks available.

Note: this is different from bug 11037 ("Javascript filter actions") because I don't want users to type in javascript in the filter UI, but to include extension-implemented filter actions in the drop-down list.
