User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20060601 Firefox/2.0.0.1 (Ubuntu-edgy) Build Identifier: This is a feature request to implement SIP/SIMPLE to Thunderbird. Thunderbird could have native support for IMPP (SIMPLE, XMPP) and VoIP (SIP, Jingle) and graceful integration of Presence with the address book thanks to the vCard extension for instant messaging http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-jennings-impp-vcard-08 . There is already the Cockatoo extension http://cockatoo.mozdev.org/ based on the ZAP SIP stack, but for Windows only. The Cockatoo UI http://cockatoo.mozdev.org/ui.html is really nice, though. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: N.A. Actual Results: N.A.
