From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; m15) BuildID: 2000041805 the redirect string remains in the URL window instead of refreshing to the reflect the current page you are on Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.www.directhit.com 2.search for your favorite search term 3.click on any of the links returned and look in the URL window at top. Actual Results: The URL still reflects the directhit.com redirect URL string even though you have left the directhit.com domain Expected Results: the URL should read whatever site you have been redirected to.
Win98 Build 2000041915 Could not reproduce. Searched for "Mozilla", clicked entry for mozilla.org, page came up and URL changed to http://www.mozilla.org as it should. Fixed in M16 nightlies?
I couldn't reproduce this either. Redirects seem to work fine, updating the URL bar properly. More info? Or can we assume the error was fixed and close this?
Tested on PC/Linux. Could reproduce on M15 and 2000041508-M16, but this is fixed in 2000041609-M16 and later builds. So we _know_ that this was fixed. See bug 33870: "URL bar shows the wrong url after changing pages by links or bookmarks". *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 33870 ***
