I can confirm the same behaviour for the latest build of Firefox (3.0a5pre, Minefield). When Firefox is quit by OS X as part of the process of closing down the computer, next time it (Firefox) is opened it behaves as if it had been quit unexpectedly and asks if I want to restore the last session or start a new one. Steps to reproduce: 1) Start Firefox 2) Turn off the computer gently (from the apple menu or by clicking the power button) 3) Start the computer again 4) Start Firefox again Expected result: Firefox should start normally. Actual result: Firefox says it was quit unexpectedly last time and asks if I want to restore the last session or if I want to start a new one. Note1: I have set Firefox to open up with the last session's windows and tabs. Note2: The problem does not occur if Firefox is quit manually (cmd-q). Yes, I still get the same problem with the latest version of FF for OS X. Not sure what the build number was, but there was an auto update about a week ago.
