Visit a login page of a website that you have a remembered password for in Firefox. I personally have seen this bug on the Google Account login pages for the most part. 2. Sometimes you'll realize, "oh," you say, "there's no Master Password box. That's a nuisance." Then fill in your username and hit tab to go to the password field. Enter your password and hit OK. Actual Results: At this point, it appears that the Master Password box that *should have* popped up when the page finished loading decided to hide from you until you're done with the second one. Expected Results: It should show up the first time ;) Using a Portable Firefox Build downloaded at version 2.0, upgraded to 2.0.0.1. Default theme. This, as far as I can remember, has only happened on Google Account login pages.

I do believe I forgot to finish the sentence "Sometimes when I visit websites" at the top. Lemee finish that here. Sometimes when I visit websites, the Master Password dialog box pops up twice; the first one hides until i'm done with the second one. (Details below -- now above.)

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that one of your extensions is causing this bug -- namely Master Password Timeout. Can you try browsing in safe mode (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode) for a bit and see if you still hit this bug?

It looks like this has solved itself over the last few weeks. Probably since I removed quite a few extensions. I've forgotten about this bug until I was recently alerted of it being a blocker for #382734. It's trivial, it's terribly unlikely, and doesn't matter. It's just a minor annoyance, and it doesn't really need to be fixed.
