To improve the usability of bugzilla software, could you please consider open sourcing the custom templates and css skins used for customizing b.m.o and make it available for download. This will be greatly useful for users implementing their own bugzilla instance. Thanks. They are open source, in as far as we've made no decision to keep them private. We used to have all that stuff up where it could be gotten at, but we haven't gotten around to doing so again yet since our last upgrade (because all the customizations changed with the new version). We have a combination of changes to the default templates and custom templates. The changes to the default ones can be found at http://landfill.bugzilla.org/prodpatches/huge-bmo-patch8.diff (no guarantee that file will stick around forever at that location). Getting that broken into smaller pieces like we used to and getting the custom templates up is probably going to happen when we get some source control set up for it.
Dave, thanks. b.m.o looks much better and functional than the default bugzilla install. Would you not consider using b.m.o skins and templates as the default skin/templates for the standard bugzilla releases itself? otherwise it would be good to include them as additional skins/templates in the standard bugzilla releases.
