Since build 20070501-04 of Minefield 3.0a5pre, content is "smeared" into the web page while scrolling. When scrolling down, this happens at the bottom of the page; when scrolling up, the smearing happens at the top.

It looks a bit like those fancy JS scripts where text lines are moved into position on page load.

To me, the effect is more apparent at the top (ie, when scrolling up) than at the bottom but that could be just perception. Also, it is especially visible when scrolling slowly.

Using Minefield 3.0a5pre/20070531 now, and it still has this problem.

Last build which scrolls "fluently": Minefield 3.0a5pre/20070430-04

Reproducible: Always
Version: unspecified → Trunk
I guess that would make this a regression from bug 368247, then...

Isn't this a dupe of bug 382392? Tha page has a long dotted border, causing a possible slowdown, and another sub-issue of 382392 details the "smear" effect. (That sub-issue is now fixed, is this one gone now as well?)
Since seems there's no problem now because there's no more the background image, I think this is a DUPLICATE of Bug 361754, as Daniel Gross stated in Bug 361754 Comment #12. Can someone set it?
