User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a6pre) Gecko/20070609 Minefield/3.0a6pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a6pre) Gecko/20070609 Calendar/0.6a1 I run Sunbird as an unprivileged user on Windows 2000. This means the sunbird program directory is read only, and installation of automatic updates fails (automatically! :-). Unfortunately I was administered an update before I could disable automatic updating, and now I'm bothered with an error message about a failed update at every Sunbird startup. I haven't found a way of getting rid of this, short of killing the entire directory holding the update data. The "update history" UI should probably provide a way to delete updates pending. It would be nice if automatic updates which have been obsoleted by manual updates of the whole package would be recognized and discarded automatically. I suspect that Firefox and Thunderbird suffer the same problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This is not handled by Calendar component, moving to Software Update component.
