file:// URIs are always shown completely in gray

Since file:// URIs never have a host, the entire URI is always shown in gray. It would make more sense to me to show it completely in black in that case...

IMHO there's no need for a litmus test. First of all, the gray was on purpose. Secondly, it has been removed and is most likely not coming back.

If you say so; I don't see why extra testcases hurt (especially since I'm tasked to both write and run them).
