User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007072415 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9a7pre) Gecko/2007072415 SeaMonkey/2.0a1pre Crash when accessing "Wetterdaten" in the left side menu. It looks like it is only affecting Linux builds. Seamonkey 1.1.3 is OK, however. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open http://www.peterscheurich.privat.t-online.de/ 2.Click on "Wetterdaten" in the left side menu 3.Crash... Expected Results: No crash is expected I think this crash has been around a while, but not until now the new Breakpad Crash Reporter has been working for Seamonkey. Anyhow I had the pleasure in submitting the first Seamonkey crash report using this tool: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/ebc921fa-39ec-11dc-af5a-001a4bd43ed6?date=2007-07-24-13 I tested with the Nightly builds and my own builds, they crash. My Minefield Windows build (from the same codebase) does not crash
Unfortunately, Breakpad only has symbols for nightly builds (not hourly builds), so you'll have to crash in a nightly build to get proper symbols for the stack.

Unfortunately Breakpad will not be enabled until the nightly 20070725 is available. (bug 389382) So far I get only this from the nightly 20070724: ./run-mozilla.sh: line 131: 24107 Segmenteringsfel "$prog" ${1+"$@"} (Segmentation error) I will make a new effort tomorrow.

Sorry to say I was not able to get Breakpad Crash Reporter to work in the nightly build of 20070725. Upon the crash I get the message that Crash reporter cannot find some shared libraries : e.g libcurl.so.3, libssl.so.0.9.7 Maybe this is a separate bug.
(In reply to comment #1) > Unfortunately, Breakpad only has symbols for nightly builds (not hourly > builds), so you'll have to crash in a nightly build to get proper symbols for > the stack. > By making a symbolic link libcurl.so.3 -> libcurl.so.4.0.0 in my /usr/lib I managed to make breakpad work correctly with the nightly build. The crash report is here: http://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/71947b17-3ac6-11dc-8b69-001a4bd43ed6?date=2007-07-25-15
