I build Firefox from the svn trunk daily using mostly defaults (configure flags: --enable-application=browser --disable-airbag).
Since about a week, while most sites are displayed fine, a few complex sites such as slashdot no longer render correctly: see attached screenshots. Missing text, dangling images, minor rendition errors in the chrome tends to manifest at the same time when such a problematic site is visited.
Strangely enough, no resource exhaustion seems to occur when this bug is hit: memory usage is normal, video ram usage is often low, and other Firefox 2.0.0.6 session can run in distinct X11 sessions at the same time without problems.
Regression wize, the latest build I have that does not expose this was checked out and compiled on 2007/08/04 (a late Minefield 3.0a7pre).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

2.

(In answer to comment #2):
It might very well be a dupe: thanks for pointing me to bug 390787; I will try to reproduce the behavior you described, and mark this as a duplicate if appropriate.
