User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20061023 SUSE/2.0.0.5-1.1 Firefox/2.0.0.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.8.1.5) Gecko/20061023 SUSE/2.0.0.5-1.1 Firefox/2.0.0.5
To enter the firefox settings one has to go to:
* the 'Edit' entry on GNU/Linux
* the 'Tools' entry on Windows
Why not agree to one location of the entry point independent of the platform?
(Edit makes more sense to me: 'edit ... settings' )
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start OSes
2. start firefox
3.

And on Mac, it's in the application menu on the left, where it's called Preferences. That's because each OS has different platform conventions.
