User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.1.1) Gecko/20061204 Firefox/2.0.0.1 While typing in the address bar, search bar or in dialog boxes, the Mac keyboard's home and end keys do nothing. Further to this, there is a long standing tradition of using the down and/or arrows for a similar effect. None of these text-navigation features work in FireFox, while they do elsewhere in the OS or other apps or browsers. Have a look. Thanks! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Type in any field or dialog 2. try to use home or end keys 3. notice the ineffectiveness of the keystroke Actual Results: no workie Expected Results: -When I press "home", I expect the text cursor to go to the start of the line. -When I press "end", I expect the text cursor to go to the END of the line. Kittens are cute.

Not necessarily a duplicate - we're talking different versions of the browser, here. Notice the first posting (175620) was in 2002 for v.1.2b. This is 2007, version 2.0.0.1. =) I'm surprised this issue still exists.

The bug I duped to is still valid. http://developer.apple.com/documentation/UserExperience/Conceptual/OSXHIGuidelines/XHIGUserInput/chapter_11_section_3.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30000361-TP22 Home, End ..."Pressing the Home or End key has no effect on the location of the insertion point or selected data."
