Details

Many people have complained that the menu font is too small in the Unix version. The default font is only 3mm, which is quite normal for Windows, but Unix users are accustomed to larger menu fonts. One way to achieve platform-specific menu font sizes is via CSS system fonts. There are already 2 bugs for that: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33313 http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16729 However, we seem to be having trouble deciding whether or not to use CSS system fonts to solve the small menu font problem on Unix. So, we need to make this decision. Whatever decision we make, we still need to solve this small menu font problem.

Sounds like a dup of bug 5236, but I'll let the owner make that decision. Meanwhile, victims of this can use ~/.mozilla/[profilename]/chrome/user.css to change their chrome fonts to whatever they prefer. That's the approach I'm taking.
