Using multiple Mozilla applications at the same time leads to confusion in password dialogs. Every day I've been starting both Thunderbird and Firefox at the same time, after starting my computer. So password dialogs from both applications pop up at nearly the same time. It's hard to distinguish between these dialogs.
So my suggestion is to include the &productShortName; in password dialogs title.

This issue doesn't seem valid now that Firefox 3.x has the password prompt in a bar in the browser window. But it may apply to other Mozilla products...

This Bug is still valid for Master Password dialogs.
Summary: Password dialog should include &productShortName; → (Master-)Password dialog should include &productShortName;

Still a problem as of Firefox 4 beta 4 and Thunderbird 3.1.2.
This also prevents programs like KeePass from auto-typing the master password on Windows when both Firefox and Thunderbird are installed because it cannot tell which password to enter.

This has been a problem since 2007!
It's also a security risk, as shown in bugs 489915 and 101611.
The solution proposed in 489915 should be used.
