Fox's on demand show player is sniffing for Firefox in the user agent. Using the trunk it will not play videos until you change the useragent from 'Minefield' to 'Firefox.

Its still beta so there is time to fix it. The player is from move <http://movenetworks.com/> and shows the same error message for me (linux not supported), so they <http://movenetworks.com/contact.html> and the fox feedback are good places to start.
Summary: Fox's on demand show wants firefox 1.5 or newer (sniffing user agent) → fox.com - Fox's on demand show wants firefox 1.5 or newer (sniffing user agent)

Kurt, is this really fixed, or did the change from "Minefield" to "Firefox" elsewhere mask the fact that it still exists in all other Gecko browsers?

Could have been.

Would you please check using either a Minefield build that predates the change there, or using a different Gecko browser?
Reopening pending an answer to this, though, since I have approximately zero faith in Fox to have actually fixed it.

For the URI given, I received
a 300 Multiple Choices
http://www.fox.com/fod/player.htm?show=24
and then a not found
http://www.fox.com/fod/player%3fshow=24
Going to Fox, then Watch sections. The videos are working. The message being I can't watch because I'm in one of the non-authorized locations.
