User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070723 Iceweasel/2.0.0.6 It would be nice to have an option to permanently cache bookmarked pages. Benefits : - A user can always retrieve the content he bookmarked. - It would be possible search bookmarks by page by content. more Reproducible: Always
You can File > Save Page As..., then bookmark the local file.
- Of course it is possible to manually save a page. - Of course on could duplicate every bookmark, the first one pointing to on-line, the 2nd to off-line content. - Of course a user could open offline version if the online isn't correct. - Of course I could write a script to download my bookmarks. but ... All that just wouldn't be convenient !
