seth, it's hard to tell if this is wowrking or not because of Bug 39262. (I kind of feel that it is but cannot vouch for it completely.) So, let's wait until the other bug is fixed.

yes, 39262 makes testing this hard. (I had to use 4.x to test.) I'll work on 39262 today.

** Checked with 6/27/2000 Win32 & Linux builds ** The subscription operationn works with Japanese (-named) folders with the abobe builds. The update of the status for the folders (i.e. whether the folder disappears out of or appears into view) does not occur until the [refresh] button is pressed. I guess that is a bug but a separate one from this one. Hopefully someone has already filed a bug for it. Marking the fix verified.
