Details
The version of Firefox 2 shipping with Fedora 7 seems to be using the native Gtk style for the browser tabs. This is a huge improvement in native look & feel and we should try to do this by default in Firefox 3.
Smarter people than I will provide details.

The theme found here (http://primates.ximian.com/~glesage/firefox/) includes native-looking Gtk tabs.

We also need a few other things fixed for native GTK look:
- spacing/borders in the preferences and extension windows
- toolbar (folder, bookmarks) look
=> those can also be taken from the theme mentioned above
- no sunken states for activated toolbar items like bookmarks
- URL entry: use GTK style, allow for focus ring etc
- search entry: make it look more like a GTK widget
- Find bar (see 399820)

And not to forget about the headers of a listview, they look _really_ out of place in any GTK+ theme (I mean Prefernces->Privacy->Exceptions, there you can see it).
