When accessing a mail server where I need to enter a password I'm presented with a dialog that says: Enter your password for hegetest@fep2.sprawl.dk. [____________________] Why doesn't the dialog says: "Please enter your username and password for the following server: Server : fep2.sprawl.dk Username: [hegetest____________] Password: [____________________] That would be soo much easier to understand for the user. Futhermore you have the ability to change the username incase you misspelled at the time of creation.

This seems like a UI issue to me...I'll let Jennifer have the final say....Although be warned, this dialog is the common password dialog for the whole app so changing it changes it for all seamonkey apps that use the password dialog.

Improving the wording on the dialog would be fine by me! Reassign to Simone, our tech pubs person. This dialog will also need changes because of Password Manager stuffs.

Please see http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39653 as I think the outcome of that will resolve this bug. The UI for this is out of my hands at the moment, so I'm marking this bug INVALID (although it's really a duplicate, of sorts).
