Details

I got:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to bugs.freedesktop.org:443 because it uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted or its issuer certificate is invalid.
 (sec_error_ca_cert_invalid)

I had no idea why ff3 couldn't show the page (ff2 worked fine), and I had no
idea how I could make the page to show up on ff3.
On IRC I was told that an exception could be added to 
Preferences->Advanced->Encryption->View Certificates->Add Exception...
That certainly is way too well hidden in the UI.
